ALEXANDRA LUHRS

Established in 1995, Alexandra Luhrs Interior Design is a full-service design studio focusing on residential interiors in a variety of design styles. The firm’s strength lies in its ability to create timeless interiors that reflect the clients tastes and lifestyles, as well as work closely with architects, builders and contractors.

As a little girl, Alexandra loved to rearrange the furniture and paint the walls in her bedroom. At 8 years old, her favorite magazine was Architectural Digest, so it’s no surprise she ended up choosing a career in interior design. After earning her degree in Environmental Design with a minor in Art History from UC Davis, she began her career designing retail stores for an international design firm, working on projects across the globe. After 7 years, Alexandra decided it was time to open her own studio focusing on her real passion – residential interiors. While establishing a client base, she worked with a well-known cabinetmaker designing kitchens, baths, libraries, media rooms, and even furniture. This partnership provided valuable insight into the residential building process, as well as custom cabinet design and detailing.

Over the years, Alexandra has developed close, attentive relationships with her clients, most of whom are repeat customers. Through her extensive knowledge of custom interior detailing and her innate love of color, texture and style, Alexandra continues to create timeless interiors that are both comfortable and elegant.
